Abstract：

This paper introduces the characteristics of several kinds of potting materials, including epoxy pouring sealant, polyurethane pouring sealant and silicone potting glue. Then it analyzes the influences of the environmental factors, such as water, radiation, temperature/heat, oxygen, ozone, microorganism, and mechanical stress, on the potting materials. Finally, it introduces the necessity of the environmental adaptability research on the potting materials.
